With regards to the Samajwadi Party Chief Ministerial candidate Mulayam Singh came to appoint his brother as the state party chief ,it led to a family feud. Akhilesh Yadav, who did not approve of this move sacked four ministers, including his uncle Shivpal Yadav, who is also the chief of Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh. Mulayam Singh tried his very best to bring the tense situation under control. Even though the Yadav family denied any family feud, the ongoing battle was pretty evident. Recently, Uttar Pradesh unit chief of the Samajwadi Party Shivpal Yadav on Friday declared his nephew Akhilesh Yadav the party’s chief ministerial candidate for the 2017 Assembly elections in the state. Therefore, we can say that the family feud has been solved without any further issues.

This move was a clear indication that the Samajwadi Party Chief Ministerial Candidate will be Akhilesh Yadav.
