Rick and Morty Season 3:Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network, Rick and Monty is one of the most popular adult animationsitcoms that premiered on December 2, 2013. Upon release, the animations series received critical acclaim and was renewed for season 2 that premiered in July 2015. Rick and Monty season 3 was renewed for 14-episodes in August 2015.
Announcement for the renewal of the third season was made, then the second season was only three episodes in. Co-creator Dan Harmon had said: “It’s an honour to see Rick and Morty join the exclusive club of shows over nineteen episodes.” While Roilandcommented: “I am blown away by the seemingly instant success of Rick and Morty. I look forward to continuing their adventures!”
Rick and Monty Season 3 Release Date
Early in January, there were rumours that season 3 will be premiering on January 9, but co-creator and voice actor Justin Roiland denied the speculation.Enstarzreports that the IMDB page of the series had listed the release date, but it turned out to be wrong. He tweeted saying: “As far as I know (and I would know) season three does not air Jan 9th.” He went ahead and even made a pun:“Go ahead and [Jodi] Arias me.”Roilandwas making reference to Arias who in 2013, was convicted of murdering her boyfriend for which she was sentenced to death.
Back in October, there was a rumour that Rick and Morty would have only 4 episodes that’ll be premiering in December. According to a Reddit user, anyone can edit IMDBpages. The option is hidden, but it’s definitely doable. “So my guess is,” s/he said, “that a fan, hearing from Dan to expect a 2016 release of the first handful of episodes, went in a made it 2016 on the IMDb.” That explains a lot.
Although not officially confirmed, butRick and Morty Season 3 may premiere in late 2017.
Rick and Morty series follows the misadventures of a pessimistic and insane scientist named Rick Sanchez who along with his grandson goes on interdimensional adventures. The series had its origin in an animated parody called Back to the Future. While Justin Roiland voices theeponymous characters, some of the other voiceactors includeChris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, and Sarah Chalke.
In October, one of the writers of the show said they have currently completed writing 10 episode out of the 14. Speaking of the upcoming season, the writer informedRick and Morty season 3 is going to be insane and that we are going to love it.
At the San Diego Comic-Conpanel, creator Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon brought an exclusive new clip from season 3. Although not a teaser, but it worth a watch.
