
Reliance Group of Communications Chief Anil Ambani has appointed Juergen Hase as its new CEO in Internet of Things (IoT) Business. The respective business emerges from a platform named Jasper which helps in providing 11 data centre facilities from Reliance as well as deliver Global Cloud Exchange services around the globe.
The following partnership between Jasper and Reliance Communication would result in pilot several projects in a better manner. These include fleet management for maintenance of vehicles, lower energy bills for the consumers, distribution of losses and side-management courses, decrease power transmission along with smart grid management.

As of newly appointed CEO Juergen Hase, possesses 25 years of experience. Prior entering into Reliance Group, he was IoT and M2M Director at Ooredoo, a Qatar- based Telecom company. In Reliance Group he will be responsible for developing various projects endured in Reliance General Insurance comprising vehicle telematics assessing the risk profile of the customers. He would also keep a close watch towards remote healthcare and assisted living in Hospitals.
Earlier, Hase was responsible for IoT businesses in South Asia, Middle East and North Africa where he took control over segments such as telematics, smart cities, insurance, energy, healthcare, and automotive. Before getting into the post of Director in Ooredoo, he was placed as Vice President of M2M Competence Centre at Deutsche Telekom for 10 long years.
At present, CEO of Reliance Group will work under thus reporting to Group Managing Director Amitabh Jhunjhunwala in its newly constructed headquarters of Reliance Centre in Santacruz, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
