In the recent Annual General Meeting 2016-17 held in Mumbai on September 27, 2016, Reliance Group’s co-owner Anil Ambani stated that his Reliance Communication and elder brother Mukesh Ambani‘s Reliance Jio amalgamation’s sole reason is to fulfil their Father Late Sri Dhirubhai Ambani‘s dream. Working together hand in hand to create that India which their Father and founder of Reliance Industries once dreamt of, long back.
In the past few days, all the media circles murmured about the relation between the two brothers who decided to re-join all over again so as to launch Reliance 4G in the country. With such positive approach, Anil’s Son, Jai Anmol Ambani working with Mukesh and finally Anil Ambani taking a vow to work with his elder brother for a better India helped Reliance Group achieve with Jio what it is today.
In a conference with their shareholders on Tuesday Anil stated that the merger of Reliance Communication under him and Reliance Jio owned by his elder brother will now work on the same infrastructure of telecom which would eventually share mobile towers, the spectrum of RCom, optical fibre networks, electronics, along with 4G LTE services of RJio.
Apart from the amalgamation of RCom and RJio rest of business sectors remains separated thus being operated independently as it was before when the two high-profile brothers split in 2004. The rapprochement after a decade later would not only help in building the greatest empire all over again but also gain the urge to fulfil their Father’s dream. Although as per high official sources belonging to Reliance Group gave statements as nothing is on paper or say, the merge is completely “virtual” thus being away from any legal procedures for the respective amalgamation.
Other than speaking on RCom as well as RJio, their virtual amalgamation, etc. the AGM 2016 discussed issued under Reliance Power, Reliance Defense, and so on.

Currently, RCom is all set to merge with Aircel to make a combined entity of Rs. 60,000 crores thus making it the third largest telecom provider after Airtel and Vodafone. The introduction of Jai Anmol Ambani was another big positive thing in AGM 2016 thus designating him with the post of new Director of the company along with entering in the list of stakeholders.
