Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are all set to introduce Yash Raj Film’s new talents in an upcoming movie to be directed by Habib Faisal. It was reported in 2016 that Yash Raj Films would soon launch the grandson of the iconic actor Raj Kapoor, Aadar Jain. Later, Yash Raj Films also announced that they had made an agreement with Delhi-based, Anya Singh, to make her debut in Bollywood with the film produced by Yash Raj Films.
At an event, Anya Singh and Aadar Jain were introduced to the media and Bollywood industry by Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. The event was planned by Yash Raj Films to introduce the new talent. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma were chosen because of the striking similarities they have with the new actors. Aadar Jain comes from a family of established actors much like Ranbir Kapoor who also happens to come from the same family. Anya Singh is a new find for Yash Raj Films, who had auditioned her in Delhi. She is a student at Delhi University and is still pursuing her graduation. She is an outsider to Bollywood, with no connections, much like Anushka Sharma.
When Aditya Chopra met Anya Singh, he was transfixed by her talent and beauty and offered her a contract for three films, which she signed. He recalls the last time he was so engrossed by someone’s talent was when he saw Anushka Sharma.
Both Aadar Jain and Anya Singh had posed for their photo shoot with Yash Raj Films introducing them as their new talent. The stunning posters have been going viral on the internet and have generated quite a buzz in the public opinion. One of Aadar’s posters features him saying that while Kapoor may not be his surname, films run through his blood owing to the fact that Raj Kapoor was his grandfather. Anya’s profile has been kept quite secret on the other hand.
