Since the unofficial, yet declaration has been made that Rahul Gandhi will be promoted to the post of Congress President by Sonia Gandhi, speculations regarding the future of Congress. While there have been speculations all around, the B.J.P MP Smriti Irani who is also the HRD minister has mockingly said that the promotion of Rahul Gandhi to the post would bring Achche Din for the Bharatiya Janta Party.
Earlier the Congress President Sonia Gandhi had attacked the Modi government for celebrating the two years of the party as a ruling party at the centre. She said that Modi should remember his status and that he is not Shahenshah.
In an interview, Smriti Irani said that she attacks Rahul Gandhi so much because she is asked by the journalists every time and thus she just reacts. While talking of JNU, she said that JNU was facing a law and order challenge and that the institution calls for a police action and not the ministers. If a police action is required, the institution can’t be asked to use the political influence. She also commented on the issue of 2009 and questioned the role of Rahul Gandhi when the students of JNU were lathi-charged by the police back then.
It seems that more than B.J.P and Congress there is a cat fight between the HRD minister Smriti Irani and Rahul Gandhi.
