The Anushka Sharma’s production house has been successful on its first attempt with NH10, and after that, it has come up with Phillauri. Anushka has tried with a serious issue her first movie and maybe this time she wanted something different. This romantic comedy is very strategically made with a very limited budget, and it has already recovered the maximum amount of it selling the music and satellite right. Made with a budget of Rs. 21 Crore and has released in 1200 screens mostly in metro cities and in Northern parts of India. The trailer of the movie released on 5 Feb 2017 but with time it lost the hype and before the release though the actress did a rigorous promotion of the film. The movie started with a 25% occupancy that increased on the weekends.

Phillauri lifetime box office collection is predicted to be 30 to 35 Crores. The movie is made with a very limited balance. With Anshai Lai’s direction, Phillauri has the possibility to reach Rs. 50 Crore and above. But as Naam Shabana will be released next week, Phillauri will get some serious competition for sure.
