The Professional Examination Board (PEB) is a self-funded body created by the state government of Madhya Pradesh. The board of directors was initially established as a medical testing board by the government of Madhya Pradesh in 1970. Later, in 1981, a preliminary engineering board was formed. In 1982, these two boards were merged and were designated as the Professional Examination Board (PEB) by Government Order No. 1325-1717-42-82 dated 17.04.1982. The Board of Directors has been mandated to conduct admission tests to attend various colleges in the State.
PEB stands for the Professional Examination Board, which is currently the largest portal recruitment and employment agency in India. Approximately 30 entrance exams, recruitment, and selection are conducted per year. On average, about 20 LAC applicants participate in PEB exams. Professional Examination Board is placed in a picturesque location in Arera Hills Bhopal, opposite Chinar Park (East) on more than 3.89 acres.
PEB Exams and Results
PEB is supported by a team of more than 100 people spread across 16 departments who successfully manage different stages of the screening procedure. Most staff are permanent or seconded from various departments of Madhya Pradesh Government. The vision of the Council is to “provide the best recruitment and employment services led by technology and values with a focus on the needs of people and thus create a better tomorrow.”
PEB embarked on a journey to take advantage of the latest technology and infrastructure to conduct the examination. This includes an exam automation system, a computer-based screening system, the use of psychiatric consultants for testing, the use of RO image capture machines, and the availability of PEB applications/results on mobile apps to name a few. All activities, events, exam schedule, and results you make PEB are actively updated on their professional website as well as the Facebook and Mobile application.
PEB has developed a portal to capture information about people with special needs so that they can be proactively updated on any employment or acceptance opportunities coming to them. Besides, PEB has also linked it with CSC and the district administration to help set up and fund 1,000 kiosks in remote and remote areas to help reach people from the most remote part of Madhya Pradesh. The Board is fully committed to providing a zero error result and making it available within the shortest possible time to the concerned departments. The results are prepared to maintain maximum security and confidentiality.
MPPEB (Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board)
MPPEB is a professional examination board of Madhya Pradesh, India and it is known as Vyapam in the Hindi language. It is the largest examination body in Madhya Pradesh and is directly under the Directorate of Technical Education. MPPEB Conducts various tests for entry to professional courses and schedules. The Madhya Pradesh Vocational Examination Authority is a state self-financing government agency. The government has reshaped the board to make decisions on political and regulatory matters through the Madhya Pradesh Vocational Board Act. 2007.
