Panasoniclaunched a rugged detachable notebook – Toughbook CF-20, in India. The company claims that the laptop is made for challenging environments, including field services, transportation and logistics, utilities, oil and gases, public safety, healthcare, insurance and defence.
The notebook runs onWindows 10 Pro or Windows 7 Professional and powered by6th Generation Intel CoreT vPro processor technology. TheToughbook CF-20 comes equipped with 128GB SSD and 8GB RAM. Armed to meet all mobile computing needs at extreme conditions, the devicesports a glove enabled touchscreen, purpose-built Vehicle Mount and Desktop Port Replicator.
The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 sports 10.1-inch display with 1920 X 1200 pixels and 224 PPI that offers 800 nits of brightness. The notebook comes with an optional keyboard dock and connectivity options like Bluetooth, Dual Pass Antenna, USB port (including one high powered1.5A USB on the tablet), SDXC, HDMI, VGA, Serial, Ethernet, Wireless: 802.11ac WiFi, optional 4G LTE multi-carrier or Dedicated GPS.

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is going to be available from August 2016 from the authorised Panasonic resellers. The notebook is priced at2.25 lakhs, plus taxes and will include a standard three-year limited warranty.
