The ongoing American television series No Tomorrow got premiered on October 4, 2016, with its Pilot Episode airing with a mix reaction from the viewers. The show being a romantic fantasy comedy-drama revolves around two lead characters Xavier and Evie, who fulfill all their dreams and desires before the world ends withing 8 months 12 days. The following series witnessing a mix reaction, mostly negative, failed to grab attention of the masses. So, with its recent 1 hour long episode of No Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 8, it is most likely that it may not be considered for a renewal.
Consisting of just 9 episodes, the second last episode i.e. No Tomorrow S1 Episode 8 has bee titled as ” No Rest for Weary” which has been directed by Michael Schultz and Written by Jessica Chou. As per the main plot of No Tomorrow, ” The series follows a woman who lives in Seattle and becomes involved with a free-spirited guy who inspires her to make an “apocalyst”, a list of things to do before the world ends—which he claims will be in eight months and twelve days. With the help of her friends, they try to find out if he can be taken seriously while completing the bucket list”. The series tells tale regarding the those unfinished wishes which can be achieved in one life time.
No Tomorrow Episode 8 will showcase Xavier spending more time with Evie as he starts working at Cybermart so that they both stay “together” but rather ends up in rallying the workers to strike before the world ends. Time left less, both the love birds will end up doing adventures things added in the ‘bucket-list’. Along side, Evie’s grumpy and cynical co-worker Kareema confronts her feeling to her secret lover eventually making a bold move, finally. For Jonathan, he will continue to encourage Xavier and Evie for thier “tasks”.
No Tomorrow opened with a positive reviews from the critics side as IMDb gave a score of 7.1 out of 10 based on 1,416 votes of which 14 reviews came from the users and rest 7 from the critic. Metacritic gave a score card of 69 out of 100 based on 29 votes. Rotten Tomatoes gave a rating of 89% based on an average rate of 23 votes. Surprisingly, audiences did not prefer wathing No Tomorrow Season 1 for long as its Pilot episode recorded a viewership of 1.51 million up to No Tomorrow Episode 7 witnessing a viewership of 0.80 million.
