Nissan the Japanese automaker is most likely to launch its X-Trail in India after its successful launch of its updated version of the current generation X-Trail in the USA. Though the pre-facelift model showcased at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo but the makers have decided to release its face lifted version in India. The first and the second generation of the X-Trail has been part of India’s updated automobiles, but the current-gen model that was introduced in 2013 will be seen in the roads of India for the first time. If the buzz to be believed the Nissan X-Trail Hybrid may release in India in between March and April 2017.
Nissan X-Trail Engine
Nissan Motor India is keen for a good business here and thus hybrid version of X-Trail in November. a premium hybrid SUV is coming with a 2.0-litre MR20DD and in-line 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor as well. a 31kW electric motor for a total power output of around 180bhp in combination with torque output of 207Nm. The hybrid system offers a front-wheel-drive version of Nissan’s one-motor two-clutch parallel hybrid “Intelligent Dual Clutch Control” system.
Nissan X-Trail Interior and Exterior
The striking pair of headlights featuring LED projector headlamps with a headlight cluster and a 2705mm wheelbase the car has a stunning look. The car has a length of 4640mm, width of 1820mm and a height of 1715mm. if we come to the interiors the dashboard is angled towards the driver with three-spoke steering wheel that offers a silver accent which matches the centre console and the door pads.
Nissan X-Trail imported model for India is expecting to cost well over Rs 30 lakh. Now even though that is expensive, but at the same time the buyers would be pleased to know that there is nothing like the X-trail Hybrid as it is the first ever luxury hybrid crossover to be sold in India.
