Thrills are about to go over the head because Google own brand Nexus is planning to launch its upcoming smartphone Google Nexus 7 in December this year (2016). But confusion is there. Nexus 7 may be wrapped with a new brand name “Pixel 7”. We are not sure that whether Google has killed the Nexus series or not.

Apart from the speculations, one thing is sure, and that is- this is going to be a 7 inched tablet. A lot of rumors are coming up every day.

## We have been informed by a solid source that Nexus 7 will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for superior protection of the display.

Some analysts suggest that Nexus 7 2016 will be released in 2017 because the whole ecosystem of the Nexus is undergoing some major updates.

If the tablet is branded as a “Nexus” device, then the price will be something within our budget, but if it comes under the “Pixel” brand, the price tag may become as same as a premium tablet.

We are excited about this device due to two strong reasons-

  • What are the major updates Google has talked about?
  • Andromeda operating system which is going to be introduced in the Nexus 7 2016 or Pixel 7 2016.

The developer preview of this new operating system has been launched. It’s basically derived from Android OS.

Features of this new Google tablet are awesome. It sports an AMOLED screen with 4GB RAM that boosts the performance to a new height. It’s coming with a power packed jumbo battery of 5100 mAh.

The flash storage will be 64 GB while it will feature type C port. The processor of this giant may be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with Adreno 530 GPU.

Google Nexus 7 2016 will house a 13 MP rear camera while there is no update on the selfie camera yet. But we are expecting a 8 MP camera with LED flash there.
