The Japanese automotive manufacturing company Toyota is known for producing almost 10 million vehicles each year and has created a huge name in the automobile industry. However, it has been a long time since the Toyota’s stylish electric hybrid hatchback Toyota Prius which was previously a compact sedan got unveiled in India. And now the upgraded version of the Toyota Prius has been revealed at the Auto Expo 2016 which was held in Delhi. Prius is sold at an extensive rate in Japan and the US and is noted as one of the highest selling hybrid cars of all time.

The all new Toyota Prius has got all the stylish and the classy looks which would impress a car fanatic at a single go. The headlamps can easily draw one’s attention because of its wacky presentation. On the other hand, its vertical LED fog lamps have given the hybrid car a look like never before. The leg space and the headroom are spacious enough to give the rider a comfortable ride. When it comes to the dimensions the upgraded version of ToyotaPrius is measured as 60 mm long, 20 mm lower and 15 mm wider if compared with the previous version of Toyota Prius. And the dashboard of the car looks quite fascinating due to its innumerable screens, buttons and warning lights.

The new Toyota Prius will grab the attention of all the technology fanatics as well, they can connect the Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Bluetooth and so on to the infotainment system and enjoy the ride in the luxurious car.

The all new Toyota Prius is available in three variants such as Z5, Z6 and NEW. The Z5 variant is priced at Rs. 39.41 Lakh and provides a 1789 CC along with automatic, petrol which will deliver 23.91 kmpl, The Z6 variant and the NEW are priced at Rs. 41.14 Lakh and 38.9 Lakh variant andprovides a 1789 CC which delivers a 1789 CC just as the Z5 variant. However, The hybrid Prius consists offour cylinder petrol engine of 1.8-litre.

The safety of a car is one of the biggest priorities of any car fanatic. The upgraded Toyota Prius has been given a positive rating regarding its safety by the Euro NCAP as the test drive proved that it is quite safe to drive the car. Therefore the safety factor of the car was given a five star.

The Toyota Prius has quite a lot of competitors in the market, such as the Honda Civic Hybrid, Ford C- Max Hybrid, Ford Fusion Hybrid and so on. However, the Prius somewhat stands out in terms of its features and the comfort provided by it.
