OnePlus 3T: Before OnePlus gives their flagship smartphone a much-needed facelift with the OnePlus 4 (expected to launch sometime in 2017), they are focused on an interim device which will build up on the features and specs of the previously released OnePlus 3 smartphone.
By all accounts, the new device dubbed the OnePlus 3T is expected to be launched on November 15 via a live streaming session by the company. Before that, however, the OnePlus 3T has been spotted listed on a major retailing website, which also provides a marker to its possible pricing. Sources had earlier reported (most notably Evan Blass via Twitter) that for the OnePlus 3T, buyers were looking at a possible price tag of about $80 north of the OnePlus 3. However, the newly leaked listing shows the device flaunting a price range higher than that by about $20. According to the listing, the OnePlus 3T will be priced at $499.
The listing appears on Oppomart, a website that sells smartphones by reputed Chinese makers. Besides the price, the other details that are listed about the phone point towards some impressive features for the price that it is touted to come at. Some of them are also in compliance with some of the speculated specs of the OnePlus 3T. Most notable among them is the inclusion of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 821 processor, which is said to come coupled with 6 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage (some sources hint at the possibility of an 8 GB RAM). The OnePlus 3T is supposed to be backed by a 3,5oo mAh battery which will also feature OnePlus’s Dash Charge technology.
Coming back to the price of the OnePlus 3T, there is no question that the smartphone will be priced higher than its predecessor, the OnePlus 3. However, there is nothing to verify that the price on the listing is legitimate. For all we know, it could just be a speculation that will be updated once OnePlus announces the device.
