NEET Results 2016 of Phase I & II To Be Announced On August 17

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced the National Eligible cum Entrance Test (NEET) of Phase I & II in the months of May and July 2016 is expected to announce on August 17, 2016.  The respective exam is held for lakhs of aspirants who seek to get admission in several medical courses such as MBBS/BDS/MS/MD/BD, etc.

Students ought to be 12th pass with minimum aggregate or equivalent to it. The exam is conducted in two phases. This year, Phase I exam was scheduled on May 5, 2016, in which almost 7 lakhs students appeared from all over the country. Phase II was conducted on July 24, 2016, in which qualified aspirants from Phase I took part, which minimized to 4.7 lakhs students. Students tend to belong to a Science background in past years. NEET 2016 results for Phase I & II is announced on the basis of merit and in this article we will provide all the details regarding the procedure of it.

How To Check NEET 2016 Results

  • Visit the official website of NEET.
  • Choose the option “NEET 2016 Results for May & July”
  • Enter your Admit Card No., Roll No., Date of Birth, Name, etc.
  • Click on Submit button and see your results.
  • You can download the page in PDF format also.

The exam is conducted for those who wish to get entrance in premium medical institutes located in every State of the country. Students get admission according to their rank and category such as General/OBC/SC/ST/Physically Challenged.  Almost 7 lakhs appear in Phase I exam out which 4.7 qualify for Phase II exam. The rest of 4.7 lakhs will be qualified after NEET 2016 results are declared on August 17, 2016.

Though there are very limited seats for MBBS/BDS/MS/BD courses in several medical colleges, so the competition becomes very tough and only best of top rankers get entrance to best of colleges in India.
