The actor who is known for being a struggler for quite a long time in the industry and the man who guarded other’s house at night is none other than Nawaziddin Siddiqui. The man who was rejected by many of the renowned directors then is the busiest man of Bollywood now. The directors who rejected work to the man now list his name for the most important role at the top.
In an interview after Kahaani, the actor said, “I was refused by many directors and asked to look like an actor first, and now the top designers of Bollywood run after me to make me their brand ambassador”. That is probably the best way a man can get back the results of his hard work and dedication.
Right now ‘Raman Raghav 2.0‘, ‘Raees‘ and ‘Mom‘, and also brand commitments in his kitty, but he is not complaining. According to the actor, it seems to be an endless marathon after his visit to the 69th Cannes Film Festival.
Nawazuddin on Tuesday finished a brand commitment early in the morning and directly ran to the airport to catch a flight to Lucknow where he is shooting for his next ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz‘ directed by Kushan Nandy. “The last few months have been extremely hectic for me – juggling my film shoots, promotions, film festivals and my brand commitments. It feels like an endless marathon but it’s one I’m really happy about,” Nawazuddin said in a statement.
The dialogue that Nawazuddin Siddiqui had in the film Majhi that said, “Bhagwan ke bharose mat baitho, kya pataa bhagwan tumhare bharose baitha ho” (don’t depend on God, who knows God is dependent on you) is the real life statement of the actor.
