The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, 2017 (NATA-2017) application process has started. So the eager candidates now need to buckle up for the registration. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is in charge of the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study of Architecture. The Council of Architecture is in charge with the responsibility of regulating the education and practice of profession throughout India besides maintaining the registration of architects.
All the candidates are requested to complete the registration process within by February 2, 2017 on the official website. The examination will be conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) on April 16. The exam is conducted for granting admission into first year of 5-year BArch degree course at various institutions in India for the academic session 2017-2018. The NATA score card has the validity of two years from the year of appearing.
Educational qualification for NATA 2017
The candidates should complete SSC (class 10) or equivalent examination. For BArch course, students should have cleared class 12 or equivalent exam with mathematics subject. Earlier, the exam used to be conducted in a ‘multiple-day windows’ in two phases, but now, it would be held on a single day only.

The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time which is related to specific field of study in Architecture.
