Will Wagner Moura reprise his role as Pablo Escobar return in Narcos Season 3?

Update: Although in the previous two seasons, the rise and fall of Escobar was wrapped up and the show will now focus on the Cali Cartel, there are reports that Netflix will continue to show scenes involving Escobar. This will not come as a surprise as a large portion of Narcos viewers actually do tune in to the show to witness Wagner Moura’s excellent portrayal of the Robin Hood of Colombia and the fact that Escobar was killed off in the previous season might just have had a lot of people’s attention from the show waning. One reportsays that the two seasons have not thoroughly told the tale between the Medellin Cartel headed by Pablo Escobar and the Cali Cartel, and the encounter between these two cartels will be part of season 3 in a “flash back” or transitory style, before “Narcos” will focus on Cali Cartel.

The showrunners know it ofcourse and therefore possible scenes with Escobar and his deeds while he was still alive are slated to be included in Narcos Season 3 which is due to go in works sometime in February 2017.

Boyd Holbrook Returning?

Update: The fans were delighted with another good news right after Netflix confirmed that Narcos will run for two more seasons, which is Steve Murphy’s (Boyd Holbrook) comeback in the crime web television series. To recall, Murphy had served Escobar in the Columbian drug trade. He went back to the U.S. after Paulo Escobar (Wagner Moura) died in the first season. Another rumour suggests that the recasting of Holbrook is on hold because he is currently committed to his upcoming sci-fi film “The Predator.”There has been no confirmation regarding the news from the showrunners though. Speaking of the rest of the cast, news is that everyone would back for season 3 and 4 but, Pablo Escobar won’t survive season2. In an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Eric Newman said: “There’s a reason why we call this show Narcos and not Pablo Escobar,” he explained. “It’s very much about the trade. There are other drug dealers and there are alliances formed against Pablo [in season two], so there are a multitude of stories we could tackle.”

The buzz has already been created among the fans and now they are just waiting to release their curiosity buds with the premiere of the season. The happening of the new season might get more addictive, and the viewers will have an urge to witness it like never before due to certain changes in the storyline.
