
Samsung has launched three top-of-the-shelf tablet-PCs at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. These tabs have been designed with working professionals in mind and the South Korean-based giant will look to conquering the world market very soon. The slew of products let loose in the most widely followed tech conference in the world. This is also the first time that Samsung has announced products based both on the Android and the Windows platform.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Specs and Features
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a superbly brilliant 9.7-inch Super AMOLED QXGA display which has a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The new tab is powered by the Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has 4GB of RAM which is mated to a native storage of32GB Storage, something which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. The primary camera is a 13MP one with autofocus. The front camera is 5MP. The tab will be connected via anType-C USB spot. The device will run on Android 7.0 and will be powered by a massive6,000 mAh.This tab has one great advantage: it will have a fast charging capability as well. Other features which boast the Galaxy Tab S3 will be an accelerometer, a hall sensor, an RGB sensor, a fingerprint sensor, a geometric sensor and a Gyro sensor. The Tab S3 will also have proprietary Samsung features likeSamsung Smart Switch, which will supplement Samsung Notes, Air Command, and the redoubtable Samsung Flow.
Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch specs and Features
As the name suggests, the new Galaxy Book will have a12″ Super AMOLED Full HD display with a superb screen resolution of2160×1440 pixels. The Galaxy Book is powered by aDual Core7th Gen IntelCore i5 processor which can power crank up to3.1GHz of computing power. The new Galaxy book will launch in two variations with one carrying 4GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of SSD while a more premium version will boast of 8GB of RAM which will complement 256GB of SSD storage. The one advantage of Solid State Drive is that it will have resistance to high temperatures. The rear camera is 13MP with autofocus and a 5MP front camera will prove to be a boon for selfies and video calling. This new device will have two USB 3.1, or Type-C, ports and will have connectivity options likeBluetooth 4.1,Fast Charging,Samsung Notes,Samsung Flow, and Air Command. The new Galaxy Book will run on Windows 10.
Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6-inch Specs and Features
The Galaxy Book has also seen the light of day at the MWC 2017. It has a10.6-inch TFT FHD display with 1920×1280 pixel resolution. The smaller Galaxy Book is powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel Core m3 processor with Dual Core 2.6GHz performance. The 4GB of RAM will be mated to either64GB or 128GB eMMC (embedded Multi-Media Controller) which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The rear camera is 5MP and the tab will run on theWindows 10 platform. The new Galaxy Book also hasSamsung Notes, Air Command, and Samsung Flow. It is lightweight and weighs in at650 grams only.
An Improved S-Pen
The new line of tablets also features a new and improved S-Pen. While the Tab S2 did not include any S-Pen, the new submarine is significantly larger than the previous styluses offered by Samsung. It is also thicker and offers more features than previous S-Pens as well. The new stylus has a new 0.7mm tip with over 4,000 levels of pressure sensitivity. It is a fascinating piece of engineering and has features which will leave even the most battle-hardened user. It will take notes, capture screen shots, and records GIFs as well. The Tab S3’s left bezel has a set of six ‘pogo pins’ and will enable the new keyboard to be attached. Overall, the tablets from the stable of Samsung this year is aiming to consolidate after the Note 7 fiasco last year.
