Padmavati by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not yet released but the controversy of the movie takes a new step every day. After threats by various people to Bhansali and Deepika, now Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav is also a part of the trouble as she was seen dancing on Deepika Padukone’s ‘Ghoomar’. The video of her dance has gone viral and drawing flak ever it came out on the internet.

This is one of the main reasons why the violence surrounding the movie has increased. The Karni Sena members had spoken in anger against the ‘Ghoomar’ song as it shows Rajput women dancing in public which is a total disregard of facts.

Aparna was seen dancing to this number on her younger brother Aman Bisht’s engagement ceremony which was celebrated at a five-star hotel in Lucknow. It was a group dance in which she was leading the other girls.
To this, a Karni Saina leader said “It is sad that a prominent political family’s member has chosen to behave in such a fashion. It is as if she is trying to tease us and rub salt in our wounds,”

Padmavati, since the start of its production has been into controversy. From vandalizing the sets of the movie to declaring a bounty over beheading actress Deepika Padukone & director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie has already fumed a huge ruckus in the country. The release date of the movie has also been postponed, amid such protest against the movie, the dance of Aparna might earn some negativity for the party chief, Mulayam Singh Yadav.

India has been very fragile to such controversies for a while. It is now to see what will be the fate of film Padmavati- a movie worth hundreds of crores.
