Mukunda Murari Plot/Story Line

Adapted from a Gujarati novel “Kanji Kanji Virudh“, the respective Kannada film is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster OMG-Oh My God! The film revolves around an atheistwho files an unusual case against Gods or basically Godmen who try to fool people by showing the fear of their ideology. During the trial, he faces lots of controversies even including an attempt to murder. Hereby, he is confronted by a young, dashing man who calls himself as Murari and helps him throughout his struggle along with in every high and low.

Mukunda Murari Movie Review (Acting/Direction)

The attempt to make an out and out film is quite appreciating. Generally, Kannada movies comprise of high-end social drama, over-the-top action sequences, typical love affairs, and one man army concept. But with such movies on 75 mm screen is definitely a delight to watch. Sudeep is at his best and unusual as he looks dashing as Murari whereas Upendra senses of humour are simply class apart. Rest of the cast and entire crew team has done justice thus making the overall movie a good time show.

The respective film Mukunda Murari released in as many as 200 screens in Karnataka where it faced tough competition with two big banner movies from Bollywood, and rest big movies from Tamil and Telugu film industry on its opening day collection. The occupancy rate settled to 45% of which the ticket prices varied from Rs. 200 to Rs. 350 in multiplexes. In single screens, the price rates varied from Rs. 75 to Rs. 170. The first show started from 7:15 a.m. which will end by 10:00 p.m. So, Mukunda Murari 1st day total box office collection has generated revenue of Rs. 75 lakhs approximately.
