The first look for the upcoming 2017 Bollywood movie ‘Mubarakan’ which will see the real life Uncle-Nephew duo of Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor is finally out and for some people it will bring back some or the other bad memories of a previous film.
‘Mubarakan’s’ first look, which has gone viral on the internet features Arjun Kapoor yet again, attempting his hand at a double role after the devastating ‘Aurangzeb’ a couple of years back. Nevertheless, we can definitely assume that by the looks of the poster the light mood surrounding this new movie will play more to the actor’s strength. Interestingly, one of the judwaa brothers is a Sardar. Arjun, who is playing a Sikh character for the first time, has undergone extensive preparation for the role before he begins shooting in Chandigarh this week. Apart from Chandigarh, the film, which is pegged to be one of the biggest family entertainers of next year, will also be shot in London.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Murad Khetani’s Cine 1 Studios and Ashwin Varde ‘Mubarakan’ which will most probably be a family romance-drama is set to hit theatres on July 28 next year. Arjun Kapoor, on his twitter profile posted Mubarakan’s first look with a caption which gives us insight on what his double role character’s name will be in the upcoming movie. His tweet read “Meet Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh #MubarakanFirstLook @MubarakanFilm #SonyPicturesNetworksProductions #Cine1Studios.”
