Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr India all together has been waiting eagerly for a long time for the monsoons. The scorching heat of the Sun and the unbearable summer of this year could be relieved only by the first drop of Monsoon. The good news is that the most awaited monsoon is expected to hit the Kerala Coast in two days. The meteorologists say that this year the monsoon is most relieving and most awaited. They are also saying that this year the rainfall will be 2% more than the other years. The weather office said that many parts of the Tamil Nadu have already been lashed in rainfall in the past 24 hours. Rainfall accompanied with thunder and lightning have already struck Chennai. Some of the states on the eastern coastal plain like West Bengal and Orissa have already experienced much rainfall due to low pressure formed over the Bay of Bengal. The weather office forecast rain at a few places in South Tamil Nadu and over one or two places in the northern parts of the state for the next 48 hours. “There could be several reasons for the delay in monsoon onset, such as the El Nino and Indian Ocean warming” said D.S. Pai, head of IMD’s long range forecasting division, when he was asked about such heat in this summer.
