Model-Athlete Milind Soman talks about his fitness secrets and its not gymming!!!

Milind Soman is one of the first names that comes to everyone’s mind when asked about Indian male supermodels. A whole generation remembers when he emerged out of the box in the Made in India video to sweep pop star Alisha Chinai off her feet. In a recent interview with the athlete-model, many things about his life came to light, little-known facts about him like his weight, which hasn’t changed since he was 19 years old.

The 51-year-old supermodel-athlete is the proud winner of the title of Ironman for completing the Ironman Triathlon in Zurich in 2015 and also claimed the title of ‘Ultraman’ by completing Florida’s 3-day ‘Ultra-Endurance Event’.

Milind Soman talked about the secrets of his health and stamina, and much to everyone’s surprise, he revealed that he does not go to the gym and does not run every day either. He says that going to the gym doesn’t work for fitness and that gyms are basically for bodybuilding and a sort of rehab but one cannot become fit and healthy by going to the gym. He says that the gyms employ techniques that focus on one part of the body at a time, leaving the rest of the body unattended to.

The athlete also reveals his sleeping schedule, going to bed around 11 P.M. and waking up by 5 in the morning. He runs 3 or 4 times a week and does practically nothing the rest of the days of the week for fitness. He also reveals that even though he did not play any sport or do any exercise from the age of 23 to the age of 38, his weight has remained constant from the age of 19.He talks about his smoking habit, saying that he smoked about 36 cigarettes a day for 10 years until he realized that he needed to stop and it took him 3 years to do so. He also talked about his diet, according to which he stays away from refined white sugar, packaged products, and over-processed food.
