He will be seen in two avatars, one in the modern look and another knight look from the saga Mirziya, to fill the audience with heightened drama and action packed sequences in the visually rich terrain of Rajasthan that is well contrasted with flashes of the fantastical universe of the folklore set in the awe inspiring landscape of Ladakh. The story is the same of the folklore only with some added drama and visually reach projection director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has created a world where only love reigns. Mirzya Review The best part of Mirzya is its unique storytelling style. In one word it is poetic. Yes it is. It’s the credit of the director who could make the movie so intense and picturesque at the same time that can give you goose-bumps. It has some high-octane action sequences, which has been helmed by Australian action director Danny Baldwin. Even the songs need a special mention. Both the lead actors acted well and are promising. The Positives The movie has good music. Daler Mehindi nailed the title track with his powerful voice. Acting and direction are quite good. A genuine love story in Bollywood after such a long time. Harshvardhan Kapoor is looking too handsome. The Negatives The story plot known to all and thus fails to create any surprise. Promotional work is weak. Too dramatic at times. The movie is too long about 2 hours and 15 minutes and could have been short to maintain the intensity. The Rating of Mirzya The movie is the perfect treat for those who has a taste for love stories. And if you are already a Harshvardhan Kapoor fan then don’t even think of missing it. We are giving this movie a 4/5 stars.
