It has been a long while that we have come across news and updates regarding the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. And the latest one has revealed the fact that the 2-in-1 device from Microsoft is going to be launched before the end of the month of March next year. So it seems that it is not too far away that we will be able to come across the much-awaited device.
Previously reports have come in that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is going to be featuring the Intel Kaby Lake processor under the hood. And it is for the release of this updated processor from Intel that Microsoft has been waiting. With the latest developments that have been reported in the GSMArena rumours have gathered momentum that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is going to be launched in March which provides a clear hint to the fact that the Intel Kaby Lake processor will also be revealed around that time of the year.
Along with that, it has been previously reported in the Techvicity that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is going to come out with a support for the 2K and 4K display resolution. The device is also reported to be available on the market in two variants. One of those two will run on an Android operating system while the other will run on a Windows operating system like all of its predecessors.
Regarding the price of the device, speculations are rife that the lower end of the device is going to come out with a price tag of $899. But the buyers of this variant will perhaps not get a 4K display resolution. In order to get hold of the one with a 4K display, users will have to spend a bit more, and that is around $1,599.
However, everything is in a state of rumour, and it remains to be seen what things actually turn out to be once the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 arrives on the market. For that, we have to keep on waiting until the end of March which is expected to be the probable date for the launch of the upcoming high-end 2-in-1 device from the house of Microsoft.
