Micromax has launched an all now tablet called the Canvas Tab P701. It’s priced at Rs. 7,250 and is exclusively available on Flipkart. It’s worth remembering that earlier this year, the company had launched Canvas Tab P702 featuring 4G connectivity and was priced at Rs. 7,999. On Flipkart, the device is available in Grey and Blue colour options.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P701 features a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS display and runs on an Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The tab is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, clocked at 1GHz, clubbed with 1GB of RAM.
The dual-SIM tab is packed with 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The listing on Flipkart confirms that one SIM slot will support 3G while the other will support 4G. As for the camera, the Canvas Tab P701 sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front-snapper. In the connectivity department, the tab supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and Micro-USB. The Flipkart online listing reveals that the device will come voice calling support.
