India has always been a potential market for the luxury cars and Mercedes-Benz leaving no loophole to grab the opportunity. Thus they have inaugurated their third facility at Whitefield in Bangalore. This German-based luxury car company knows well how to expand the company and increase sell and now the third R&D is what they had promised quite sometimes ago.This new facility is spread across an area of 119,227sqft and has a seating capacity of 900.
Thomas Merker the vice president (Body & Safety), Mercedes-Benz Cars Development and acting Chairman MBRDI said:
“The digital transformation of our company is in full swing and is affecting our entire value chain. Our India center through its talented workforce provides the necessary gilt edge raising the digital quotient of the company. MBRDI supports multiple regional hubs of Daimler in keeping the product on computer for as long as possible.”

Mercedes-Benz India is also expanding its capacity by 23,318 sq ft to add another 203 seats in its satellite office in Pune .
