The eagerly waitedMercedes-Benz GLS has finally got a launch date. It will come out in Indiaon 18th May 2016. The car is essentially an upgrade of the of the top most SUV models . Previously called theMercedes-Benz GL-Class, the SUV is now renamedasMercedes-Benz GLS. The new car of course will featurea number of changes in its design that’d make the car look pretty different to its predecessors.
Speaking of the inside, the interior has been extensively redesigned and has got that luxurious look and feel. We are aware of the fact that at thecompany’sChakan plant, the production of GLS 350d has already begun.

For stay, the car offers a number of features that includes – Pre-Safe, collision prevention assist, attention assist, crosswind assist, cruise control, Brake Assist,ESP and electronic AWD traction system with 4ETS. The SUV still remains as 7-seater and features the 8-inch tablet seat with an all new touch pad and an air ionization system that greatly improves teh air qulaity inside the car.
As far as the exterior is concerned, the most prominent change is noticed in the front profile of the car. The front has got a massive bulbar-like chrome slat that makesthe SUV look aggressive.It comes with a large tri-star logo, a big muscular bonnet, redesigned headlights. As for the headlights, they now come with LED daytime running lights and thesignature Multi-Beam lamps along with. Although the rear portion of the features an all new LED tail lamps, new bumpers, the side profile of the car remains largely unchanged.

Under the hood, theMercedes-Benz GLS has runs on a hugeV8 bi-turbo that is capable ofdeveloping 699Nm of torque and449bhp.Although the official price is yet to be announced, but we are predicting that the price will range something between Rs 80 lakh to Rs1.5 Crore.
