Meizu MX6 to be Announced on 19 July, to be Priced Around Rs. 19,000

Meizu has already announced Meizu M3, Meizu M3S, Meizu M3 Note and its flagship smartphone, Meizu Pro 6. It was believed that another powerful handset would be announced soon. A couple of weeks back there were rumours thatMeizu MX6 will unveil on June 20. But the date came and went without any new of the launch. Now another news hasemerged that the Meizu MX6 will unveilon July 19 at a press conference in Beijing.

The hardware of the device is rumoured to be quite similar to that of Meizu Pro 6. According to a leaked image that is doing the rounds on the internet, MX6 will be trading place with the Pro line with regards to the screen size. TheMX5 was 5.5″ and thePro 5 was 5.7″ but nowthe Pro 6 is 5.2″ while the MX6 is rumoured to stay at 5.5″. It will be featuring a full HD resolution display. We are aware of a couple of other features of the device like it’ll have a1080p screen with 2.5D glass on top. It’ll also havean Helio X20 chipset inside with two memory tiers – 3GB of RAM for 32GB storage and 4GB of RAM for 64GB storage. Speaking of the camera, the handset 20.7MP rear camera and an 8MPfrontcamera. The Meizu MX6 is likely to come with the same metal back like the Pro 6. And the price will be somethinglikeCNY 1,800 ($275/€240).

Rumours are that the handset will run onAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow OS andsupport HIFI audio. It’ll feature pressure-sensitive screen and will be powered by aMediaTek Helio X20 chipset that features a ten-core processor and Mali-T880 MP4 graphics. A 4,000 mAh battery is likely to complete the package.
