Maruti Suzuki Stops Manufacturing Due To Fire

India’s one of the largest automotive manufacturers Maruti Suzuki India has stopped production for some time in its two centres. The sole cause being one of the manufacturing plants caught fire accident and undergone substantial loss.The plants at Manesar and Gurugram have shut down its unit and is likely to resume after things get settled.

Manesar plants’ top suppliers, Subros Limited, has stopped supplying components from today which is May 30, 2016. The accident took place on Sunday i.e. May 29th and being a major one it will take the time to go back on track. The primary cause has not been found out yet but trying their best to accumulate things so as to bring things to normal.

Quite certain that the manufacturing will be hampered till the date it resumes, the company is seeking solutions to manage things. Unfinished models will be kept aside, but customers have to face a few improper services. The respective company is engaged in producing the country’s largest air-conditioning units for automobiles. It includes carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault-Nissan, Force Motors, and so on.

In an official statement from Maruti Suzuki, revealed thatSubros Limited and Maruti Suzuki are jointly assessing the extent of damage to essential equipment. We are also examining the options available to start supply of components from other facilities. Production will resume as soon as components become available.

As of Maruti Suzuki’s other counterparts haven’t ascertained other productions, but it is very much likely to have an adverse impact on purchases as well as latest manufactured cars. Although the goodwill of the company would help in retaining everything thus, start the manufacturing unit of Manesar and Gurugram as soon as possible.

Currently, Maruti has a list of top selling models such as Alto 800, K-10, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Wagon-R, etc. and the latest of them all being Vitara Brezza. All the top selling models ought to face difficulties if problems arise within this week. Though, officials have assured to provide best plausible service in what-so-ever condition and open the manufacturing plants which caught fire on Sunday.
