Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Addition Officially Announced For Nintendo Switch

The very latest console by Nintendo, now known as the‘Nintendo Switch’ has been a much talked about gizmos in the gaming world today owing to its much-touted split screen capabilities and more so ever now as the company officially launched Mario Kart 8 deluxe for their seventh major home console. Unveiled in October 2016, the Nintendo Switch is pegged to be the reviving console for the company after the Wii U was majorly criticised due to lack of any significant updates. Nintendo will be looking to replicate the success of their 1st generation Wii with the Switch and Mario Kart 8 deluxe’s announcement has significantly added to the hype surrounding the device.

The follow-up to the Wii U’s Mario Kart 8, the deluxe version of the game adds improvement to the Wii U again making the game all the more elaborative and interesting. The new iteration will see all new modes, including Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, will be available to play in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, along with new courses like Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium. Also, players can now carry at most two items at the same time including one primary and one secondary item. Items from older games, including Boo (the item-stealing ghost) and the Feather, which gives players a high jump in Battle mode, will also make a return in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. According to a press release, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will also new charactersincluding Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy from Splatoon, as well as King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr and an all new game map. The game will ve a further improvement from its previous iteration takingadvantage of the modular Joy-Con controller for local split-screen, with each player using one of the Joy-Con halves for head-to-head racing.

Nintendo is slated to make the Mario Kart 8 deluxe playable in 1080p in TV mode and 720p in Portable mode also on the verge of incorporating aSmart Steering feature, which will keep players on the track and make gameplay easier forless experienced players.Additionally, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will offer up to eight players in local wireless multiplayer. The Nintendo Switch is scheduledfor a worldwide release in March 2017 post which the console along with this latest game will be rolled out to the eagerly waiting fans of Nintendo.
