BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has appointed the well-known Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari as their new President of Delhi unit, whereas, Nityananda Rai has been elected as their Bihar unit President as reported by PTI.

As per a report by India Today, BJP President Amit Shah appointed Nityananda Rai as the new MP for their Bihar unit and is a Lok Sabha MP from the Ujiarpur constituency of Bihar.

Manoj Tiwari would be quite appreciated as the new BJP President as he has an immense fan following due to his extreme screen presence on the celluloid, which would fetch him quite a lot of voters from the state of Bihar.

Nityananda Rai was elected as an MP in 2014 and since then he has been representing the Hajipur constituency due to which he has triumphed elections.

Manoj Tiwari had earlier contested the 15th Lok Sabha elections for Samajwadi Party in Gorakhpur constituency and has been involved in politics for a long time. Therefore, his voters from Bihar is quite happy with the decision of him being elected as the new BJP President from the Delhi unit.

Tiwari has also won the North East Delhi (Lok Sabha Constituency) in 2014 from BJP and since then he has become quite a name in the field of politics. The 45-year-old actor turned politician was the very first celebrity to support Ramdev Baba’s hunger strike in 2011 and acquired innumerable protesters by singing patriotic songs to support the cause. And he also protested the arrest of Anna Hazare in August 2011. And his urge of supporting such causes fetched him more voters who still support him.

Nevertheless, apart from politics and acting Tiwari has a keen interest in Cricket as well as he has tried purchasing one of the franchises of IPL (Indian Premier League).
