LYF, aReliance Retail’s brand, is all set tolaunch the Flame 3 smartphone in India. The device is currently listed on a third-party online retailer at a price ofRs. 3,999. It’s worth noting, though, that as we write this, the handset is not listed on the company’s official site, but we are hoping it’ll be officially available soon.The Flame 3 will be available in Grey colour.
The handset features,a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The dual SIM phonesupports VoLTE (Voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility and supports both4G LTE bands in India, that is, FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The phone ispowered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and comes coupled with 512MB of RAM. It has a4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As for the camera, the Flame 3 sports, a5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash light and a2-megapixel front-facing camera. Speaking of connectivity, the mobile featuresGPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB, apart from 4G. The1700mAh battery completes the package.

According to Counterpoint, in the first quarter of the year,Reliance Retail’s handset brand, LYF has managed to garner around 7%share of the smartphone market.
