The devices will be manufactured in China.

The smartphones will initially be sold online with offline sales to begin after strategic partnershipswith offline dealers are done. India has been an enormous playground for smartphone manufacturers, both domestic and foreign, vying for attention in an increasingly competitive market. Salman Khan himself is an establishmentin the country and it is expected that his brand-name will enable the new brand to great heights.

BeingSmart‘ is a continuation of Khan’s humanitarian efforts which are well known for the ‘BeingHuman’ campaign. The latter campaign has spanned across several categoriesof products which also includes apparel. ‘BeingSmart’ will be guided by the expert we mentioned above. The new smartphones will go up against the like of Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and other brands. These brands are well known for offering attractive products ate relativelyinexpensive prices.

Sachin Tendulkar became the first major celebrity to invest in an upcoming technological brand. That brand wasSmartron, which is an IoTorganization dedicated to providing smartphones and gadgets across the country. The practice of celebrities across the world lending their names and brand values to corporations, even startups, is not uncommon. However, the practice is fairly new in India and with Khan having jumped on the bandwagon, it is expected that more celebs will join in.
