LG has unveiled it latest X series smartphone – the LG X Screen – in India. Priced at Rs. 12,990, the handset will be exclusively available on Snapdeal.
At the Mobile World Conference (MWC) 2016 held in February 2016, the South Korean giant had announced the all new X series of ‘specialists’ smartphones. Around the same time, the company had launched the X Screen smartphone in their home country Korea.
LG boasts that the smartphone will come with some unique features including ‘dual-display’. TheLG X Screen Smartphone featuresa 4.93-inch primary display and a secondary ‘Always-on’ screen that measures1.76-inch which will be similar to that of LG’s V10. The company says that the second screen can be used to answer calls, accessfrequently-used apps, check time, date, battery status and other notifications having to interrupt the current activity.
The LG X Screen142.6 x 71.8 x 7.1mm and will be available in Black, White and Pink Gold colour options. It is powered byAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM, has 16GB inbuilt storage. The handset will be supporting 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras. A2,300mAh battery completes the package.The smartphone will be covered by crystal-clear glass fibre material at the back. It’ll havecurved edges on the sides that’ll create simple yet elegant designs.
