The LG G5 smartphone is currently available for per-orders in India across retail stores, e-commerce site Flipkart as well as LG-branded shops. Priced atRs. 52,990, the pre-bookings will remain open till May 30. LG has announced that interested buyers who pre-book the handset will recieve theCam Plus module bundled free of cost along with the smartphone.LG G5 comes in three colours, gold, silver and titan grey.
The LG G5 features a 5.3-inch QHD display (1440×2560 pixels) and comes with an always-on technology. Thealways-on feature allows users to check battery status, check time, notifications and almost everything that appears on the display screen. The handset is powered byQualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC that comes coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
The dualSIM phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and supports 4G LTE. As for connectivity, the device sportsa USB Type-C connector and supports 4G LTE, USB 3.0 and NFC.Speaking of the camera, LG G5 features a16MP 78-degree lens and a 135-degree wide-angle lens with 8MP sensor. The handset has aall-metal uni-body design with 3D arc on the top anda fingerprint scanner at the back.
One of the highlights of the device is the modules or add-ons called the LG Friends, that notifies users on the companion devices that can likned to the LG G5. Another excellent feature of the device is the LG Cam Plus which is a camera module that provides additional physical buttons for operating the camera.
