Leena Yadav To Direct A Storyline Of A Father-Son Duo In Her Next Flick

The skillful and unconventional director Leena Yadav is getting highly acknowledged these days, as her upcoming film Parched has created quite a buzz among everyone. And now the 45-year-old director has stated that she will be soon directing a movie related to a father-son duo which will be based in the capital city Delhi. As per a report by ANI.Leena stated that“I will be doing a Father -Son film based in Delhi. It will be very relatable and has a sweet funny story.”The casting of the film has not been decided yet. However, Leena said that she will be finishing off with its shooting by March next year.

Leena’s upcoming movie Parched revolves around the storyline of few women residing in one of the villages of Rajasthan. It depicts the hardships faced by these women, and how they tackle scenarios such as rapes, domestic violence, forceful child marriages and so on. Parched is produced under the banner of Ajay Devgan FFilms and was premiered in 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. However, Parched will be released in India on September 23.

Leena is an extremely talented director as she learnt video editing without working as an assistant editor earlier. She also got an opportunity to direct the television show ‘This Week That Year’ which is featured on Star Movies, while working as an editor for ad films, corporate shows and television serials.

Apart from Parched Leena has also directed notable films such as Teen Patti and Shabd. The viewers are eagerly waiting to watch Parched and just cannot wait for its release, as the film will bring out the social stigmas which still exists in our society. And how men still abide with the backdated mentality which was once followed by their forefathers.

The viewers are expecting to witness something out of the box inLeena’s next flick, as the director has stated that she would be delivering a different storyline this time.
