Kidaari (2016)

Kidaari box office collection- Prasath Murugesan directed and Sasikumar starrer Tamil action movie Kidaari is all geared up to hit the silver screens today. The newbie director who was earlier an associate to Vasantha Balan is up for a tough competition with Koratala Siva’s Janatha Garage starring Junior NTR in the box office. Janatha Garage had already hit the theatres on Thursday (September 1) as a nationwide strike was summoned today. With a budget of around 40 crores Janatha Garage had settled down to 14 crores in the Indian box office and 5 crores in the overseas box office on Thursday. By taking the advantage of releasing the movie a day before the Bharat Bandh and not risking it for today Janatha Garage might be a step ahead of Kidaari in the box office.

Kidaari (2016) domestic box office collection

Sasikumar starrer Kidaari did create a buzz among the viewers. However, the movie might lag behind Janatha Garage on its first day of box office as it got released on the day of Bharat Bandh. Due to this scenario less number of viewers might hit the theatres to watch the movie. With a screen space of 500+ Kidaari will acquire almost 3 crores in its 1st day box office collection. However, Kidaari might see a fall in the box office today due to the Bharat Bandh but it will surely buck up in the weekend. The title of the movie was procured by producer- actor Sasikumar and soon after that the shoot of the movie was completed in a schedule time of 60 days.

Kidaari (2016) overseas box office collection

With a budget of almost 20 crores the Tamil action movie will earn at least 2.5 crores on its 1st day overseas box office collection. The movie has already started facing a tough competition from Janatha Garage. However, the filmmakers are expecting to earn at least more than the production cost of the movie which is almost 15 crores.
