How to check KCET Results?
Candidates will be able to check the KCET results only in the official website of KCET 2018. Candidates should keep the registration number and password ready before downloading the result. There are some procedures needed to be followed to download the result and it is mentioned in points below:
- Visit the official website of KCET 2018 to download the result.
- Click on the link provided on the homepage. The result page will get displayed.
- Enter the registration a Number and Password correctly to avail the result.
- Click on the “Submit” Button.

- Download the result and take out more than two print out of the result for future reference.
Calculating KCET Result
Candidates should know how the marks are calculated while evaluating the result. There will be three sections in the paper for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will carry 60 marks each. There will be no deduction for negative marking. A provisional answer key sheet will be released where candidates can check their responses with the actual result. It helps them to get a rough idea of their performance.
Tie Breaking Factors
In Case there are two students scoring the same marks there are some factors by which the tie can be broken. The measure to break the tie is:
Candidate obtaining the highest score in Mathematics will be preferred more. If the tie still persists, the candidates with higher marks in the Entrance Examination in Physics will be preferred more. Candidates with higher marks in standardized marks in the subject of Physics in class 10+2 examination will be posited better rank. The last tie-breaking option to take the candidate who is elder is taken into preferences.
KCET Merit List
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates. Candidates with the higher rank are placed at the top of the merit list and the candidates with the lowest rank are kept at the bottom of the list. Candidates are called for the counselling on the basis of the merit.
The marks are calculated on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the JEE Main Entrance + marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the last qualifying Examination.
KCET Cut Off
The KCET Cut off the list will be released in two rounds. Each List will be released after each round of counseling.
It indicates the minimum marks that a candidate should meet to get Admissions.
KCET Counselling
The candidates will be called for the counsellings process based on their rank. Candidates have to register themselves for the counselling process and they will be called for the counselling as per their preferences in the application forms.
