Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan

After taking the audience at the United States by storm at the recently concluded Dream Team tour, ‘Kaala Chashma’ girl Katrina Kaif and ‘Dishoom‘ boy Varun Dhawan might actually be seen in a movie together very soon.

According to sources, audience present in the Dream team concert loved the chemistry between Katrina and Dhawan and fans are really hopeful for a potential ABCD 3 casting with the two of them playing the lead. Both equally great dancers on celluloid, Dhawan delivered stellar performances in ABCD 2 which failed to make much of an impact as a movie among a part of the mass whereas Katrina has delivered several stunning pieces of dance numbers throughout her career ( Take Kamli in Dhoom 3 or Chikni Chameli in Agneepath among so many others).

The ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) franchise comprises of two movies both directed and choreographed by eminent Indian Dance Choreographer Remo D’Souza got mixed reviews since the release of the first movie back in 2013. The second instalment in the franchise was much more commercially appreciated due to the inclusion of big names like Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Something that the first film lacked.

Director Remo, when asked whether he had anybody in mind regarding the upcoming film, said “Right now I am concentrating on A Flying Jatt and after that I will be working on the film with Ajay Devgn and Sooraj Pancholi.”

Katrina’s new movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho‘ opposite Sidharth Malhotra is set to hit the big screens soon while Varun Dhawan is busy with his upcoming venture ‘Shuddhi’.

Let’s hope these two terrific dancers do eventually end up paired opposite each other in the 3rd ABCD instalment. Only Remo knows whether that would happen till now. Guess we will have to wait until he makes the official cast announcement. Till then the guessing game continues.
