Jurassic World 2 (2018): Fans of Jurassic World will be happy to know that the sequel to the hit movie starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard is getting ready to start production soon.
Actor Sam Neill who played the character of palaeontologist Dr Alan Grant in the original Jurassic Park franchise was recently announced to have a participation in the movie Thor: Ragnarok which coincidentally also stars his former Jurassic Park co-actor Jeff Goldblum. When the star was asked if he will also reprise his role in the dinosaur theme park movie Jurassic World 2, the actor answered: “the call hasn’t come”.
Although fans of the first three films are waiting desperately for some news regarding the return of Neill to the casting list, the veteran actor gave an amusing reason where he thinks Dr Grant is now and if he’s ever going back in the park.
“I think the problem is that no one knows where Alan Grant is anymore. He’s retired from paleontology. He’s sick to death of dinosaurs and running. He’s not quite as fleet of foot as he was, and he’s now retired to Dayton, Ohio, and has a very successful accountancy business… I think that’s what’s happened to Alan. Either that or he’s dead…”
