
Admit Card JEE Main 2018
The JEE Main is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year for admission in B.Tech. Programs into 31 NITs, 20 IIITs, 22 CFTIs. The JEE Main is also a qualifying test for the JEE Advance. The JEE Advance is conducted for admission in B.Tech. Program into the 23 IITs of the country.
The students appearing in the Final Board examination in 2018 or passed the Intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects are eligible to apply for JEE Main. There are 2 papers which will be conducted under the JEE Main 2018. The Paper-I is for admission in B.Tech./B.E. Program and Paper-II will be conducted for admission in B.Arch./B.Planning Program.
JEE Main 2018 Examination Schedule
JEE Main 2018 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.). Candidates may take Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.), or Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.), or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to.

JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
The JEE Main Admit Card shall be available in the 2nd week of March 2018 on the website of JEE Main. The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will be available in the online mode only. The candidates who have filled the JEE Main 2018 Application form will only be able to download their JEE Main Admit Card 2018. The JEE Main 2018 Application Form with incomplete/False information will be rejected without giving any intimation to the candidate. Such candidates will not be able to download their JEE Main 2018 Admit Card.
Procedure to Download the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
The candidates who have filled the JEE Main 2018 Application will have to download their JEE Main 2018 Admit Card to appear in the examination. The steps to download the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card is given below:
- Visit the website of the JEE Main.
- Go to the ‘Admit Card’ Section.
- Enter the JEE Main 2018 Application Form Number and other details (if any).
- The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will appear on the screen in PDF format.
- Verify the details given on the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card.
- Take the printout of the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card and keep it safe for the further use.

Details on the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will bear the details according to the information filled in the JEE Main 2018 Application Form. The candidates should check the details given on the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card very carefully. A candidate will find the following details on the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card.
- Name of the Applicant
- Parent’s/Guardian’s Name
- Photo & Signature of the Applicant.
- Name of the examination.
- Roll Number
- Application Number
- Date of Birth of the applicant.
- Applicant’s category
- Date and Venue for the examination
- Other instructions to follow at the time of examination.
Procedure to Recover Forgotten Application Number/Password
If any candidate forgets the Application Number/Password of the JEE Main 2018 then it can be recovered in the following ways:
- Visit the JEE Main website.
- Go to the ‘Admit Card’ section.
- Click on the ‘Forgot Application Number/Password’.
- Enter the required credentials and submit.
- The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will appear on the screen in PDF format.
- Take the printout of it and preserve it for the further use.
Important Information about JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
The candidates who will appear in the JEE Main 2018 examination should take a note of the following things to avoid any type of problems related to the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card.
- All the candidates have to bring their JEE Main 2018 Admit Card at the examination venue.
- The candidates have to present their JEE Main Admit Card on the demand of the invigilator.
- The candidates who will not carry their JEE Main Hall Ticket / Admit Card will not be allowed to appear in the JEE Main 2018.
- The candidates are advised to check the details on the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card very carefully. If any discrepancy is found in the JEE Main Admit Card inform it to the JEE (Main) Secretariat/CBSE immediately for necessary action.
- The candidates should download the JEE Main Hall Ticket from the JEE Main website only.
- The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card is a non-transferable document so it should not be shared with any other candidate to appear in the JEE Main 2018.
- The candidates should not try to change any entries made in the JEE Main Admit Card otherwise they will not be allowed to sit for the JEE Main 2018.
