Tamil star Dhanush and son-in-law of megastar Rajinikanth, have reportedly stated that the recent blockbuster movie Kabali may have a sequel. The action-drama flick went on to become one most watched films of 2016. So, it’s in plans that Kabali sequel in the making.
The sequel will be Produced by Dhanush and will possess the same crew team similar to Kabali. It is still in halt whether Pa Ranjith will Direct the movie. Dhanush took to Twitter to make the announcement as the filmmaker and superstar Rajinikanth is engaged in “some work” that is most probably with the venture. Earlier, Dhanush has produced blockbusters like Kaaka Mutai, Visaaranai, etc.
Under the banner of Wunderbar Films, Kabali sequel may hit the floor from Summer 2017. Perhaps, the movie will come under production only when Rajini’s another blockbuster sequel Enthiran 2.0 is released in summers next year. However, it will be later on known regarding the rest of the cast and leads. It may continue with Radhika or not, has been left to the production house.
Ranjith did not comment on such sort but apparently he has already made a one-liner script and is working on it for further elaboration. Dhanush, who is currently busy in post-production of Enthiran 2.0, collaborated with Ranjith at once when he heard of the script. He has been dedicating himself lately with the works of his Father-in-law, of which he is subsequently a huge fan of Rajini sir.
Kabali which released recently on a worldwide basis earned hefty of the amount thus generating a revenue of more than Rs. 500 crores in the box office collection. Let’s wait and watch for its sequel.
