It’s finally THE day for Apple enthusiasts and in a few short hours the launch event of Apple’s latest addition to their premium smartphones, the iPhone 7. Probably the most popular smartphone line in the world, iPhones have had a massive number of takers throughout the world since the first generation iPhone which was released on June 29, 2007. With more than one billion units sold since the first smartphone release, Apple is looking to continue dominating today’s market of high-end smartphones.

Today’s event, which has the Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the Apple Watch 2 as the main stars of the show will take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco at 10 AM local time. Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: What we know so far

With a design similar to Apple’s last flagship smartphone iPhone 6, the iPhone 7 Plus is confirmed to have a Dual-lens Camera which will increasingly improve the already impressive camera performance of the device. With 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches being the screen sizes of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus respectively, the device is reported to improve the IPX7 water-resistant features as well as an upgraded processor which will surely take the device’s performance on a whole new different level.

The Flagship device is will be available in four coloured events- namely Silver, Space Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold. With no headphone jack, wired headphones will connect to the iPhone 7 using its Lightning port and Bluetooth headphones will connect wirelessly.

The entry-level device is expected to house an internal storage capacity starting from 32GB up to 256 GB in the highest-priced variant. The iPhone 7 will most probably house 2GB RAM while the bigger iPhone 7 Plus will house 3GB of RAM.

Like last year’s event, Apple Inc. CEO Tim Cook has also decided to stream the event live online so that fans throughout the world can witness the launch of the much-awaited smartphone comfortably at home.
