iPad Pro 2: As of late there have been several rumours spilling out about Apple‘s upcoming device, the iPad Pro 2, and one them suggests that there are going to be some three different models. Moreover, reputed and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently revealed that iPad Pro 2 would launch in the second quarter this year. The news is enough to send fans into a frenzy who are eagerly waiting for the next instalment of the iPad Pro series, the iPad Pro 2.
Kuo is the financial analyst from KGI Securities, stated that the third model of iPad Pro 2, will be a 10-inch model but Apple is still unsure if they’ll bring this one into the market. If they do there’ll be three iPad Pro 2 models launching this year. The big screen model is set to feature a micro-bezel design.
As for the smaller 9.7 inch, it’ll be launched alongside the other two models. Apart from this Kuo also reports that this one will not get any upgrade. And this where the confusion occurs. He says that the iPad Pro 2 will come equipped with an A9 ARM chip manufactured by Samsung. This doesn’t sound right because we know that iPad Pro is already backed by an A9X chip from TSMC.
Some of the other features that the Apple iPad Pro 2 is pegged to come with are Apple Pencil stylus, Smart Connector, quad-speaker and Smart Keyboard. Just like iPhone 7, iPad Pro too will be getting rid of the earphone jack and go wireless with Air Pods.
There’s no official announcement on when the iPad Pro 2 might launch but it is expected to arrive in the month of September when Apple ritualistically holds an Apple event each year where they launch iPhone and other such product. Infact, iPad Pro 2 was supposed to arrive in the September 2016 but since that didn’t happen, September 2017 is the nest tentative date.
