Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex technologies tied-up with Asahi Corp Ltd, a Japan-based company that produces scratch-free DragonTrail glass — to launch a brand new Aqua S7 which was launched earlier today in New Delhi. An affordable device maker in today’s high-end smartphone market, Intex has added its latest device in the Aqua series of budget smartphones.The Aqua S7 supports 4G-LTE band and is enriched with VoLTE feature.

Hardware and Software Specifications:

The Intex Aqua S7 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280) 2.5D curved glass display with DragonTrail Glass protection. It is armed with a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek (MTK6735) processor, which is paired with ARM Mali-T720 MP2GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 64GB via microSD card. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its back panel. The handset measures 142.5 x 72.5x 8.7 mm and weighs 150 grammes.

Camera and Battery Specifications:

The Aqua S7 has a 13-megapixel Auto-focus shooter with LED flash on the back, and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper on its front panel. The camera features include PIP mode, panorama mode, slow motion video,gesture shot, and smile detection.

The Smartphone has a 3200 mAh battery, which claims to offer talk-time of up to 22 hours and a stand-by time of up-to 256 hours.

Connectivity Specifications:

The Aqua S7 offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth:4.0, GPS/AGPS/Glonass, a MicroUSB port, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Gravity Sensor, Tubo Download, Emergency Rescue, and apps like Matrabhasha, Saavn, Opera mini, Dailyhunt, and News Point. The 64-bit CPU is certified for all three VoLTE bands in India and is compatible with the recently announced Reliance Jio SIM cards.
