The new Elantra is undergoing tests in India is supposedly sporting two engine varieties- a 2.0-liter petrol engine, that is a naturally designed and expected unit and it develops 149 BHP, and another is the much acclaimed 1.6-liter Diesel unit currently serving Hyundai Verna and the Hyundai Elantra’s present model as well. The diesel engine develops 136 BHP of power in the current Elantra edition, and it is known for its refinement and excellent fuel efficiency.
