Huawei has turned the heat on at the ongoing IFA 2016 as the Chinese tech giant has already launched two new smartphones, Huawei Nova & Nova Plus and a brand new tablet named as Huawei MediaPad M3. Huawei does not get overly ambitious with their latest tablet, and the hardware is particularly designed towards media consumption.
The Huawei MediaPad M3 flaunts an 8.4-inch display with 2,560 x 1,600-pixel resolution which can filter out the harmful blue light in dark conditions and offers high-resolution audio support. The stereo speakers of this brand new tablet from Huawei have been designed and fine-tuned in collaboration with Harman Kardon. Not only that but the Chinese company have also decided to ship the tablet with AKG H300 earphones which are particularly designed for it.
This latest tablet is built with an aerospace-class aluminium body and comes with an 82% screen-to-body ratio. The Huawei MediaPad M3 is powered by a Kirin 950 processor, offers 4GB of RAM along with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The inbuilt storage capacity is further expandable with a MicroSD slot.
The tablet comes packed with a 5100mAh battery which charges via MicroUSB. According to the company claims, the battery life lasts up to 11 hours of Full HD video playback and 45 hours of music playback. As per the cameras are concerned, the Huawei MediaPad M3 flaunts an 8MP camera on the front as well as another on the back. Apart from that, the tablet includes a fingerprint sensor too. The brand new tablet runs on the company made Emotion UI 4.1 with Android Marshmallow running on the top.
The tablet looks quite compact and ergonomically-friendly, as it comes with the curved edges. The slate will come in two colour variants- gold and silver and will be starting from September 26 in several countries including China, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, the UK, Japan, etc. The Huawei MediaPad M3 is priced at €349 for the 32GB WiFi version, €399 for 64GB WiFi, €399 for 32GB LTE, and €449 for 64GB LTE versions.
