The Honor 5C is going to be launched today (22nd June, Wednesday) at an exclusive event beginning from 11 am IST. As of now, we have no idea about the pricing and availability. The 4G-enabled phone has already released in China and its priced CNY 999. We are hoping the device will be available roughly around the same price – Rs. 10,250. It’s worth noting that Honor will also be launching a 3G variant in India – Honor 5C LTE.
Both Honor 5C and Honor 5C LTE features a5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD. 5C a dual SIM smartphone that supports Micro-SIM cards while5C LTE comes with 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM card. The company also informs that the handset supports LTE Cat 6. that bring a downloading speed of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
The handset features5.20-inch display with1080×1920 pixels resolution at a PPI of 423 pixels per inch. They are powered by the company’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (clocked at 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.7GHz + 4x Cortex-A53 at 2GHz). The smartphones come packed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The Honor 5C runs Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the rear panel, the Honor 5C sports a fingerprint scanner.
